Low tide beach just across the road, sunset.
Been very busy with writing and music projects lately. New music, a huge writing project and gigs in the pipeline. Some exciting stuff on the go. (There's a new track up on my Soundcloud page which will give you a little hint of what I've been up to. Click here to go right to the track.)
All going well, but quieter now, for a while. It's been a bit exhausting at times when things have really moved forward. But February being February, I've missed not being able to recharge my batteries outdoors, on the beach and on my veggie plot. It's been WAY too cold for anything other than a near run into town.
My new year resolution this year was to do less. Not sure that's been the case so far!! So it was nice to have a low tide walk today and to remind myself that it's okay when it feels like nothing is happening. Less is more.

Hi Robyn. Thanks for heading over for a listen. And pleased you liked what you heard!
Less is more....plenty is happening even when it seems quiet! I'm off to have a listen! Cheers, P.
good morning Annie - you have definitely been riding the crest of the wave - truly exciting when the creative energy expended manifests the kind of energy you describe, but yes, I agree too that less is more - it's the seasaw dance, no? remember how hard it was to balance the seasaw exactly in the middle? not easy xo
Hi Patti. Yes, I'm sure everything's happening underground, a bit like plants know when to shoot after Winter. Thanks for taking a listen.
Hi Jeane. It was a pretty big wave, so it's no wonder I'm worn out. Thanks for reminding me of the seesaw dance! We had a bit of pale sun today and calm skies. Still freezing, but all wrapped up, I could stroll home along the beach and actually sat right near the waves before coming in. Better better better!! Ax
The beautiful image is a wonderful reminder for us to slow down and notice the moment.. something I have to work on too as I can get very busy too.. your image is already causing me to slow down and appreciate the beauty.
Hi Donna. Thanks. Yes, it's very easy to get swept along into a frenzy and miss the things that really matter. I stood at this same spot early yesterday and it was all so unbelievably still, as if the tide was about to stop. Think it was just what I needed to see.
